Wham, jam, thank you gran! Teen’s preserve business takes off

Owen Foster began his jam business using his grandmother's family recipe when he was just 14.

Owen Foster was just 14 when he decided to start making jam to his grandmother’s recipe.

Hoping to earn extra cash, his first batch sold out within days and now he makes a variety of flavours to supply demand.

Since then, he has gone on to stock his preserves in local stores, farm shops and even Glamis Castle.

The entrepreneurial teen from Angus plans to open his own store and make fruit-infused gins and boozy jams in the future.
