The A75 has been closed in both directions after a crash involving a lorry.
Traffic Scotland confirmed the road near Rigg between Eastriggs and Gretna was closed after 8am on Friday due to the collision.
Drivers are being urged to expect delays on the road, and to use an alternative route if possible.
Police Scotland are in attendance at the crash with diversions in place.
Recovery of the lorry is now under way.
A Police Scotland satatement read: “The A75 is currently closed between Eastriggs and Gretna due to an incident at Rigg.
“Officers are on scene and diversions are in place.
“Please allow extra time for your journey.”
Traffic Scotland said on X: “The A75 is closed in both directions due to a road traffic collision involving a lorry.
“Drivers should use an alternative route at this time and expect longer than usual journey times.”
