A major road near a village in South Ayrshire is closed in both directions following a vehicle crash.
The A77 is shut between Minishant and Maybole following a crash at around 4.30pm on Thursday.
Traffic Scotland said the road is likely to remain closed for some time.
Drivers have been urged to find alternative routes at this time.
It is unknown at this stage if anyone is injured as a result of the crash.
A Traffic Scotland spokesperson said: “A77 CLOSED in both directions between Minishant and Maybole due to a collision.
“Approach with care. Use alternative route if possible.”
