Road closed following collision as drivers urged to avoid area

Emergency services have closed off a road in Aberdeen following a crash on Tuesday.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Tillydrone Road at around 6pm after reports of the collision.

The road is shut at the junction of Conan Terrace to Hayton Road. Drivers have been urged to avoid the area.

The number of vehicles involved in the incident is not known. It is also not known whether anyone has been injured.

A picture taken of the scene shows both ambulance and police in attendance.

A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: “Tillydrone Road in Aberdeen is closed at the junction of Conan Terrace to Hayton Road following a crash which happened around 6pm this evening, Tuesday, January 13, 2025.

“Motorists are advised to find alternative routes.”
