Anthropologie is set to open its second Scottish store in Glasgow – just in time for the busy festive period.
The homeware, accessories and clothing brand will open in November and will be situated in Princes Square mall, next to Space NK and French Connection.
The opening will see 15 jobs created and a teaser on the Anthropologie TikTok page said goodie bags and free gifts with purchase would be on offer to celebrate the launch.
The page added DJs, personalised goods, a blow dry bar and nail art could all be on offer in store to mark the occasion.
The opening follows in the footsteps of Scotland’s first Anthropologie store on Edinburgh’s George Street. The new launch will join 18 other stores across the UK.
The chain has taken on a ten-year lease at the shopping mall, with the store spanning 4,300sq ft across one floor.
Matt Hilgeman, managing director at Anthropologie International, added: “We’re incredibly excited to open our doors in Glasgow and continue growing the Anthropologie community in Scotland.
“Glasgow is a city known for its rich cultural heritage and dynamic fashion scene. Opening in Princes Square by M, one of the city’s most iconic shopping destinations, offers our loyal Scottish customers a beautiful new space to engage with the brand.”
Acquired by M Core in 2024, Princes Square by M is situated on Buchanan Street in Glasgow city centre.
Rakesh Joshi, director at LCP, part of M Core, said: “At M Core, we are passionate about enhancing the visitor experience at Princes Square by M.
“The signing of a global brand like Anthropologie reflects our commitment to creating a dynamic destination for shoppers and ensuring Princes Square by M remains a thriving retail hub in Glasgow.”
