Argyle Street in Glasgow has reopened on Saturday morning following a “police incident”.
Glasgow City Council said the road in the city centre had been closed down at around 10pm on Friday.
It was shut from Union Street to Mitchell Street with emergency services in attendance.
The nature of the incident is unknown. Drivers were asked to avoid the area and find an alternative route.
At around 7.15am on Saturday, Glasgow City Council said the street had reopened.
