Armed officers were called to a street in Glasgow on Friday after reports of a man with a weapon.
Emergency services, including firearms specialists, were called to Lenzie Terrace in the Springburn area at around 12.30pm
Officers arrested a 36-year-old man in connection with the incident.
An investigation to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.30pm on Friday, June 5, 2026, we received a report of a man in possession of a weapon on Lenzie Terrace, Glasgow.
“Officers, including firearms officers, attended and a 36-year-old man has been arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing.”
