Police have responded to an incident at Glasgow’s St Enoch Centre.
Armed officers were spotted outside the Monterey Jack’s restaurant in the shopping centre at around 7pm on Wednesday.
A witness told STV News they saw an individual being led away by police and said what they believed to be a BB gun had been recovered.
Images and video from the scene appear to show an object on the floor beside officers, although Police Scotland has not confirmed what it was.
The force has been contacted for comment.
