A body has been found amid the search for a missing man who disappeared while celebrating St Patrick’s Day in Glasgow.
Nick Fish, 23, was last seen at around 7pm on Sunday after attending an event at Glasgow’s Box Hub, located on Washington Street.
Police said the body of a man was discovered on Washington Street around 8pm on Monday.
The body is yet to be formally identified, however Mr Fish’s family have been informed of the discovery.
Officers said the death is being treated as unexplained but added there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: ”Around 8pm on Monday, March 18, 2024 the body of a man was found in Washington Street, Glasgow as part of searches for missing 23-year-old Nick Fish.
“Formal identification has yet to take place. His next of kin have been informed.
“The death is being treated as unexplained but not believed to be suspicious. Enquiries are ongoing.”
