Police ScotlandA body has been found in the search for a man who had been missing for six days.
Adrian Knott, known as Ade, was last seen on November 23 at Gatehouse of Fleet.
The 51-year-old’s vehicle was found at Knocktinkle, and extensive searches were carried out to trace him.
Police confirmed a body was found at the Gatehouse of Fleet around 10.40am on November 29.
Formal identification has not taken place but the family of Mr Knott have been informed.
The death is being treated as unexplained but not believed to be suspicious. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
