Police ScotlandA body has been found on a beach in Dunoon during searches for a man missing for more than two weeks.
The body was discovered at the beach on Marine Parade in the town around 12.40pm on Monday.
Formal identification has yet to take place, but the family of missing person Ryan Welsh have been informed.
The 27-year-old was last seen in Glasgow on October 5.
Officers say the death is being treated as unexplained.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.40pm on Monday, October 20, 2025, the body of a man was discovered on a beach at Marine Parade, Dunoon.
“Formal identification has yet to take place, but the family of missing person Ryan Welsh have been informed.
“His death is being treated as unexplained.”
