The body of a man has been found at a hostel in Glasgow with police treating the death as unexplained.
The discovery was made at the Tartan Lodge Hostel in Alexandra Parade at around 6.50pm on Friday evening (May 26).
Emergency services attended and a post-mortem examination is to take place.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.50pm on Friday May 26 2023 police were called to a hostel on Alexandra Parade in Glasgow after a man was found deceased within.
“His death is being treated as unexplained pending the result of a post mortem examination.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
