The death of a man, who was found dead in a flat on Friday, is being treated as unexplained.
Emergency services were called to the Calderwood Square area of East Kilbride after receiving reports of concern for a person.
A 44-year-old man’s body was discovered within the property. Investigators are treating the death as unexplained.
A post-mortem is due to be carried out. An investigation into the death is still ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.05pm on Friday, December 27, we received a report of a concern for person in the Calderwood Square area of East Kilbride.
“Emergency services attended and found the body of a 44-year-old man. His death is being treated as unexplained, and a post-mortem examination will be carried out in due course. Inquiries remain ongoing.”
