A 13-year-old boy has been arrested following an alleged sexual assault at a Renfrewshire play park.
Police cordoned off the play area in Lochwinnoch’s Lochlip Road earlier this week as officers carried out investigation works.
The alleged attack is reported to have happened on Monday, March 21.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 13-year-old male youth has been arrested following an allegation of a sexual assault in the Lochlip Road area of Lochwinnoch.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
