Emergency services have closed two busy streets in Glasgow city centre following a crash between a bus and a pedestrian.
Argyle Street and Queen Street are shut to traffic between Union Street and Ingram Street after the collision at around 12.35pm on Wednesday.
Police officers are currently in attendance.
A person was transported to Glasgow Royal Infirmary following the incident.

Road users are advised to avoid the area and consider alternative routes.
The Scottish Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
A police spokesperson said: “Argyle Street in Glasgow is closed eastbound at Union Street following a report of a crash involving a bus and a pedestrian. The report was received around 12.35pm on Wednesday, 21 May, 2025 and emergency services are in attendance. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.”
A spokesperson for First Bus said: “We can confirm an incident took place at the corner of Argyle Street and Queen Street this afternoon at around 12:40pm involving one of our buses and a pedestrian.
“Emergency services were called to the scene immediately and we are continuing to work closely with them.
“The thoughts of everyone at First Bus are with all those involved in the incident.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 12:37 to attend an incident on Argyle Street, Glasgow.
“An ambulance, critical care paramedic and trauma team were dispatched to the scene and one patient was transported to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 12.38pm on Wednesday, 21 May, to reports of a person in difficulty on Argyle Street, Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised three appliances and one heavy rescue unit to the scene.
“One casualty was handed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
