Busy road closed following early morning car crash

A busy road in Glasgow has been closed following a one-vehicle crash in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Police were alerted to the incident on Springburn Road at around 4.30am on June 16.

The road is currently closed between Keppochill Road and Hawthorn Street.

Motorists are being advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. It is unknown if anyone is injured at this stage.

Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
