A cannabis farm containing 200 plants and drugs worth £120,000 has been seized in Greenock as police work to trace those responsible.
Officers searched a premises on Mackenzie Street in the town around 11.50am on February 11 after receiving a report of a possible cannabis cultivation.
An extensive farm of around 200 plants was discovered inside, with the drugs found valued at around £120,000.
Investigations are ongoing to trace those responsible.
Sergeant Gary Arthur said: “This is a significant recovery and is an example of our efforts to disrupt the trade in illegal drugs in Scotland.
“Drugs cause misery in our communities and the public has an important role to play in helping Police Scotland target those responsible for the cultivation, supply and sale of illegal substances.
“Our enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing for anyone with any information to contact us.”
