A vehicle burst into flames following a two-car crash on a motorway in North Lanarkshire.
Emergency services were called to the collision on the M80, near Junction 6, Cumbernauld, at around 5.30pm on Monday.
One car caught fire following the crash.
The blaze was extinguished and officers confirmed there were no injuries.
The road was closed while recovery was arranged.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called to a two vehicle crash on the M80, northbound near J6, Cumbernauld, around 5.30pm on Monday, November 27, 2023.
“One vehicle caught fire and this was extinguished. There were no reports of injuries.
“The road was closed while recovery was arranged.”
