Firefighters are tackling a blaze that has engulfed a caravan and a derelict building in Kirkintilloch.
Emergency services were called to Gartshore Estate around 8am on Thursday after the fire was reported.
Six fire engines were sent to the scene at the height of the blaze.
Waterside Road between the roundabout with Mollins Road and Langmuir Road has been closed by police, and drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
Three fire appliances are remain at the scene
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 8.04am on Thursday, April 16 to reports of a caravan and a derelict building on fire at Gartshore Estate, Kirkintilloch.
“Operations Control mobilised six fire appliances to the area, and firefighters are working to extinguish a fire affecting a derelict building.
“There are no reported casualties, and three fire appliances are currently still in attendance.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson added: “Waterside Road in Kirkintilloch is closed between the roundabout with Mollins Road and Langmuir Road due to a fire reported to us around 8.40am this morning, Thursday, April 16.
“Emergency services remain in attendance, and motorists are asked to avoid the area.”
