SSPCAAn appeal has been launched after a cat was found abandoned outside a supermarket in Glasgow.
The male cat was discovered in a carrier outside Tesco Extra in Springburn.
The Scottish SPCA is urging anyone who recognises the cat to get in touch.
A post on social media added: “Please call our helpline if you are struggling with looking after your pet.
“Abandonment is never the answer.”
Anyone who recognises the cat is asked to call the confidential helpline on 03000 999 999.
