A new CCTV image has been released in the search for an Ayrshire man who has been missing for 12 days.

Jason Fraser Anderson was last seen in Catrine around 6pm on December 12.

The 33-year-old is described as 5ft 7in and of medium build with short, fair-coloured hair.

In the latest image, Mr Anderson appears to be wearing a bright blue jacket, dark trousers and wellington boots.

Police say they’re “extremely concerned” for his welfare and are asking for the public’s help to establish his movements.

In a statement, chief inspector Stuart Dougan said: “Extensive searches and enquiries are being carried out to trace him and establish his movements since he was last seen.

“We are appealing to the family and friends of Jason, have you heard from him or seen him since Friday, 12 December? If so, I am asking you to contact the police and make us aware that he is ok.

“We also urge Jason, if he sees this appeal, to contact us or a family member and let us know he is safe and well.”

Anyone with information on Jason’s whereabouts should contact Police Scotland through 101 quoting incident number 0991 of December 18, 2025.
