A CCTV appeal has been launched following an incident on board a train in North Ayrshire.
The incident occurred just after 9am on July 19 after a man boarded a train at Largs railway station. He then left the train at Kilwinning railway station.
British Transport Police believe the man pictured may be able to assist them with their ongoing enquiries.
He is described as white, of medium build, approximately 70 years old, with grey hair and a receding hairline.
At the time of the incident he was wearing a grey shirt, a black leather jacket and cream trousers.
Detective constable Lindsay Smart, of the British Transport Police, said: “We would encourage this man, or anyone who may recognise him, or anyone with information about this incident to get in touch.
“If you have any information that can assist with our investigation, then please contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 208 of July 19. Alternatively, make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
