Three people have been injured and a cat has died after a house fire in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to the blaze on Fairburn Path at around 4.45pm on Saturday.
Three people, including a child, were taken into the care of paramedics while a cat was pronounced dead at the scene.
Fire crews ensured the area was safe before leaving at around 8.50pm.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 4.45pm on Saturday, January 11, to reports of a dwelling fire on Fairbairn Path, Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised three fire appliances to the scene.
“There were three casualties, including one child, who were taken into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“Sadly, one cat died at the scene.
“Crews left the scene at around 8.50pm after ensuring the area was made safe.”
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 17:10 on Saturday, January 11, to attend an incident on Fairbairn Path, Glasgow.
“We dispatched two ambulances and one paramedic response unit (PRU). Three patients were treated and released at the scene.”
