Cocaine, cannabis and heroin worth £82,000 seized in raids in Paisley

Cocaine, cannabis and heroin worth more than £82,000 has been seized following a series of raids in Paisley.

Police made four separate drug busts in the area over the course of a week.

On November 14, officers discovered a cannabis cultivation operation with a street value of £15,000 at a property in Caledonia Street.

A 41-year-old man was arrested and charged, and appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday.

On November 18, officers stopped a moped on Maxwellton Road. A search revealed cocaine with an estimated street value of £2,200.

A 35-year-old man was arrested and charged, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

On November 19, officers stopped a van on George Street in Paisley and seized heroin valued at £15,000.

A 41-year-old man has been arrested and charged, and is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on December 18, 2025.

Lastly, on November 20, officers uncovered a cannabis cultivation with a street value of £50,000 at an address in Glasgow Road.

A 40-year-old man was arrested and charged and is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Friday.

Inspector Lorna McLaren said: “This was a fantastic result for Paisley police over one week, removing £82,200 of drugs from the town.

“These recoveries mean fewer drugs on our streets, fewer vulnerable people being exploited and more opportunities to disrupt organised crime.
