'Concern growing' for missing man last seen leaving train station

James Bowman was last seen on Friday afternoon with police now appealing for information.

‘Concern growing’ for missing Glasgow man last seen leaving Central Station Police Scotland

Concern is growing for a missing man who was last seen leaving a train station in Glasgow three days ago.

Police have issued an appeal to help trace James Bowman, 47, who was last seen leaving Central Station and heading towards Hope Street around 3pm on Friday.

Mr Bowman is described by police as around 5ft 10ins and of a slim build with a bald head.

The 47-year-old is believed to be wearing a grey jacket and blue jeans.

Inspector David Connor said: “James has been missing for two days and concerns are growing for his welfare.

“We are appealing to James to get in touch and let us know he is safe and well. We are also asking anyone who might have seen him or know where he is to please contact us.

“Anyone who can help is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 2421 of Friday, March 22, 2024.”
