Police are appealing to trace a woman missing from Ayr for a week and a half.

Chloe Fletcher was last seen in Charlotte Street in the town around 2pm on Sunday, June 11.

Officers say they are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

It is believed the 22-year-old may have travelled to Troon.

She is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, slim build with long blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a ¾ length khaki jacket with a furry hood.

In a statement, the force said: “As time continues to pass we are becoming increasingly concerned for Chloe’s welfare. We urge Chloe to make contact with us or her family or friends so we know she is safe and well.

“If anyone has information which may assist us to find Chloe please phone 101 quoting incident 2707 of June 15.”
