Police say concerns for the welfare of a teenager missing from Glasgow for five days are growing.
Officers are appealing for the public’s help to trace 16-year-old Memona Akram who was last seen in the Govanhill area of the city around 1.45pm on Monday, October 21.
Memona is described as 5ft 5in tall, with long black hair and a nose piercing and she usually wears a black hijab.
The 16-year-old has never been missing before, police said.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “There are concerns for her welfare given her age and the length of time she has been missing.
“If you have seen Memona or have any information about her whereabouts, please contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 2947 of October 22.”
