Police Scotland is “growing concerned” for the welfare of a missing man from Kilmarnock.

Hugh Kane was last seen around 2pm in the Lister Street area, near Kilmarnock Road, on Friday.

The 62-year-old is described as white, 6ft, of slim build, with short white hair and white facial stubble.

He’s believed to be wearing a black jacket, black trousers, grey hoodie and black shoes.

Inspector Iona Lyall said: “We are growing concerned for Hugh’s welfare and want to make sure he is safe and well.

“If you see anyone matching his description or have any information on his whereabouts, please call officers via 101, quoting reference 1749 of July 3, 2026.”
