iStockA cordon has been put in place after a man was found dead on Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow.
Emergency crews, including police and ambulance, were spotted near the Boots at the junction with Cambridge Street just after 9am on Wednesday.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said an ambulance, a paramedic response car, a critical care paramedic and a first responder were dispatched to the scene.
Police confirmed a man was pronounced dead at the scene, and enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson said: “Around 9.10am on Wednesday, August 26, we received a report of concern for a man at Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead. Enquiries are ongoing.”
