Road reopens after being closed for over six hours due to ongoing police incident

Drivers are being urged to avoid an area of Glasgow due to an ongoing police incident.

Corkerhill Road was closed at Mosspark Boulevard following a crash reported around 12.20pm on Monday.

The road reopened at around 8pm.

Footage from the scene shows a police vehicle pursuing a car through traffic lights before both vehicles are involved in a collision.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland: “Corkerhill Road at Mosspark Boulevard has reopened following a crash which happened around 12.20pm.

“Motorists are thanked for their patience.”
