Google MapsA man has died five days after being hit by a car while cycling in Eaglesham.
The 74-year-old was taken to hospital after being knocked down on Polnoon Street around 10am on January 16.
He died on January 21.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the crash or anyone with dash-cam footage to get in touch.
Sergeant Jack Swindells said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died.
“Inquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we continue to appeal to anyone who has yet to speak to us to get in touch.
“I am also asking for anyone with dash-cam to review the footage and pass on any relevant images which could assist our investigation.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0830 of Thursday, January 16, 2025.
