A cyclist is in hospital after a crash with a car at a busy junction in Glasgow city centre.
At around 9.30pm on Tuesday, emergency services were called to Renfield Street at its junction with St Vincent Street after receiving reports of a collision.
The male cyclist was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, while the driver of the car was left uninjured.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash remain ongoing, police said.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 9.30pm, police received a report of a road crash involving a cyclist and a car on Renfield Street at its junction with St Vincent Street.
“Emergency services attended and the male cyclist was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
“The driver of the car was uninjured and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the collision.”
