A cyclist has been taken to hospital and a road has been closed following a collision in East Renfrewshire.
Emergency services were called to Polnoon Street in Eaglesham on Thursday morning following reports that a cyclist had been struck by a car.
Police confirmed the male cyclist has been taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Polnoon Street has been closed following the crash and drivers have been urged to avoid the area.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Polnoon Street in Eaglesham is closed following a crash involving a car and a male cyclist.
“Emergency services are in attendance and the male cyclist has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“Drivers are asked to avoid the area.”
