Death of man at home treated as 'unexplained'

The death of a man at a home in Cumbernauld on Wednesday is being treated as unexplained.

Emergency services were called to Glenhove Road at around 9.30am after being alerted to the incident.

Detectives are treating the death as unexplained.

An investigation to establish the full circumstances is ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.30am on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, we received a report of the death of a man at a property on Glenhove Road in Cumbernauld.

“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries remain ongoing.”
