Emergency services were called to the Bridgegate area of Irvine at around 6.55am on Monday.
Police are treating the death as “unexplained” while investigations are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.55am on Monday, February 23, 2026, officers were called to the Bridgegate area of Irvine following the death of a man.
“His death is being treated as unexplained, and enquiries are ongoing.”
