The death of a man discovered in a Glasgow home on Monday is being treated as unexplained.

Emergency services were called to a property on Caldwell Avenue in the Knightswood area of the city at around 3.35pm following reports of concern for a person.

Officers found the body of a man inside. The incident is currently being treated as “unexplained”.

An investigation to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident is still ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.35pm on Monday, May 5, 2025, we received a report of a concern for person at a property in the Caldwell Avenue area of Glasgow.

“Officers attended and the body of a man was found within. The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
