Police are hunting for three suspects following a serious assault in Paisley.
Emergency services were called to Bruce Road at around 6.10pm on Thursday after they were alerted to a man being attacked by a group.
The 36-year-old was treated in hospital and later discharged. Officers are now looking for three suspected attackers.
The first is described as a white man, around 40-years-old, 5ft 10in tall, of medium build, with shaved dark hair. He was wearing an orange Rangers top with white writing, orange cargo trousers with black markings at the knee and white trainers.
The second man is described as white, 5ft 5in tall, and was wearing a black tracksuit.
The third suspect is described as a white woman, 5ft 7in tall, and was wearing a black hooded top and spoke with a local accent.
Detective constable Jade Clark said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what happened. Officers are conducting CCTV checks and speaking to people in the local area.
“We’re aware what happened gathered significant interest, and people will have witnessed it. I’d urge those people to come forward with any information they may have, which could assist with our investigation.”
