Police divers have been searching the Forth and Clyde canal in Falkirk as part of an ongoing investigation into the rape and robbery of a woman.
The attack took place within a building on Main Street in the Camelon area between 8pm and 8.40pm on October 5.
The woman did not require medical treatment.
Police are hunting for two suspects are described as white men who spoke with Scottish accents.
The first was around 6ft tall, of slim build and was wearing a dark puffer jacket, a dark grey hooded jumper, and white trainers.
The other suspect is described as 6ft tall and of large build. He was wearing dark clothing.
Police dive teams have been seen searching the water near Glenfuir Road in the Camelon area of the town on Thursday.
STV News understands this is related to the ongoing investigation into the serious sexual assault.
