Dog killed and another injured in incident involving 'dangerously out of control' animals

A dog was killed and another was injured in an incident involving dogs being “dangerously out of control” in the Highlands.

A man has been arrested and charged following the incident on September 4 in the Spean Bridge area.

The condition of the second dog is currently unknown.

Police have said investigations into the incident are ongoing.

A spokesperson said: “A male has been arrested and charged with the offence and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

“Enquiries are ongoing and officers are working with our partners in Highland Council.”
