A double murder investigation has been launched after two men were found dead inside a flat in Glasgow.
The men, aged 50 and 54, were found at a property on Chancellor Street around 4.40pm on Sunday and pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives have since launched a double murder enquiry with an investigation ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
Detective Superintendent Cheryl Kelly named the pair as Paul Lafferty and Gary Beaton, who knew each other.
They were both stabbed to death within a flat owned by Paul and a search for the weapon is ongoing.
A significant police presence remains in the area following the incident.
Superintendent Gary Brady encouraged those who may have information regarding the incident to come forward.
Those who may have seen the pair between Friday and the time they were found on Sunday are also asked to contact police.
