A driver has been arrested after leading police on an early-morning chase through Glasgow.
The car failed to stop when signalled on Saracen Street in the Possilpark area at around 8.40am on Sunday and was pursued through to Newton Street, Police Scotland said.
The vehicle was brought to a stop and a 34-year-old was arrested in connection with road traffic offences.
No one is reported to be injured.
The road had been closed at its junction with Bath Street for an hour due to the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.40am on Sunday, 17 November, 2024, a car on Saracen Street, Glasgow, failed to stop for officers when signalled.
“Following a pursuit, the car was brought to a stop on Newton Street, Glasgow.
“There are no reported injuries.
“A 34-year-old man has been arrested in connection with road traffic offences and enquiries are ongoing.”
