A driver has been charged after a young boy was knocked down on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Glasgow’s Paisley Road West at around 5.10pm.
A young boy was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital after suffering minor injuries.
Officers have charged the driver of the car, a 21-year-old man, in connection with the incident. A report is due to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.10pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, police were called to a report of a road crash involving a car and a pedestrian on Paisley Road West, near Midlock Street, Glasgow.
“The pedestrian, a young boy, was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“The driver of the car, a 21-year-old man, was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
