The driver of a car that went into the River Nairn in the Highlands has been traced after a search.
Emergency services were called to the incident near Howford Bridge, south of Nairn, at about 9.15am on Friday.
A coastguard helicopter and coastguard teams from Nairn and Inverness were deployed in a search-and-rescue operation, and police and paramedics are at the scene.
The car’s passenger had been taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for assessment.
It is believed Martin Hannah, reported missing from Nairn on Friday morning, was the driver of the car.
Police said they were trying to locate the vehicle’s driver, who was believed to be Martin Hannah, reported missing from Nairn on Friday morning, who they said left the scene before they arrived.
At around 8pm on Friday, police confirmed Mr Hannah had been traced.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Martin Hannah, who was reported missing from Nairn, has been traced.
“Thank you for sharing our appeal.”
