A crash on the M80 has caused major rush hour traffic disruption.
The motorway is currently restricted northbound between junctions five and six after a collision that happened at around 7am on Thursday.
Emergency services are at the scene and delays are expected to be around 40 minutes.
It is unknown if anyone was injured in the crash.
Further updates are expected.
A statement from Traffic Scotland read: “The M80 is currently restricted northbound between junctions 5-6 due to a road traffic incident.
“Both lanes are currently blocked with traffic passing in the hard shoulder.
“Delays approx. 18 minutes currently. Updates to follow.”
