Drivers have been warned of disruption on a major motorway after a horsebox overturned in Dumfries and Galloway.

Emergency services were called to the M74, at Junction 21, the Kirkpatrick Fleming Interchange, at around 10.16am on Wednesday.

The road remains restricted southbound and motorists have been warned to expect delays and seek alternative routes.

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
