A man is in hospital and police have closed down a road in Renfrewshire after a three-car crash on Friday morning.

The A761 Bridge of Weir Road is closed at Locher Road and Prieston Road following a collision at 7.10am.

One man has been taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

Officers urged drivers to stay away from the area.

The force has been approached for a statement.
