Google MapsDrivers were warned on Friday morning to expect significant delays after a crash blocked a lane on the M77.
Traffic Scotland warned motorists around 9.30am that the motorway was restricted northbound at junction three due to a road traffic collision.
Just after midday, an update said the collision had been cleared, but lane restrictions were still in place for barrier repairs.
“Lane restrictions are in place for barrier repairs,” the update said.
“Lane two northbound closed. Lane two southbound closed.”
Delays of around 20 minutes were still expected.
An earlier update said: “The M77 remains restricted northbound at Jct 3 due to a road traffic collision.”
“Lane one is blocked on the main carriageway. Road users are to expect delays. Approximately 21 minutes currently.”
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
