A man was caught with a suitcase full of cannabis while waiting for a train to Glasgow.

Chuanhua Lin was spotted acting suspiciously by British Transport Police’s County Lines Taskforce on September 12 last year while at Preston Railway Station.

Officers approached the 40-year-old, whose behaviour continued to raise suspicions as he attempted to keep them away from a large suitcase.

A search of the suitcase revealed cannabis worth up to £225,000 stored in vacuum-sealed bags.

“Our teams deploy across the UK to detect and disrupt County Lines activity. Officers are skilled at noticing behaviours that will make criminals stand out from everyday passengers and we will ensure they are brought to justice.

“If you are using the rail network to transport drugs, we will find you.”
