A quantity of drugs and replica weapons were seized after a home was raided in Glasgow on Wednesday.

Officers executed the warrant at a property on Dalton Court in the Shettleston area of the city at around 8.30am.

Police discovered cocaine, with an estimated street value of around £6,000, and replica weapons within the address.

A 59-year-old man has been charged in connection and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on a later date.

Constable Uwaise Ahmad said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities and Police Scotland is committed to disrupting the distribution of illegal substances.
