Drugs with an estimated street value of £100,000 have been recovered during a police raid in Glasgow.

Cocaine and heroin were recovered from a property in Dyke Road at around 2.50pm on Friday March 28 after officers executed a warrant.

A search was carried out and 3kgs of cocaine and 1kg of heroin were seized.

No one was arrested and enquires are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and trace those responsible.

Detective Superintendent Steven Elliott said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities and Police Scotland is committed to bringing those responsible for the supply and sale of illegal substances to justice.

“This result underscores our commitment to the Serious and Organised Crime Taskforce and highlights our efforts to disrupt the activities of those involved.
